In 2008 DC’s energetic indie rock quintet Washington Social Club went their separate ways, never to be heard from again. Or so we thought. But the bond that got them together in the first place was too strong, and through a truly beautiful process, they found theirselves recording this record.
Two Silvertone amps and a lot of rock and roll. It’s all you need. That and some amazing camaraderie. We recorded 4 songs in a long weekend with a few dates for overdubs. It was a whirlwind. And it was well worth it. Power pop at its best, complete with delicious handclaps.
