The Starlight Girls who hail from Brooklyn are releasing this summer their record that was mixed by Mat Leffler-Schulman and produced by Xiu Xiu’s Jamie Stewart. Their pressing will be a limited-edition picture disc featuring glow-in-the-dark images of constellations.
One songs on the record is “7×3,” which sees the band moving closer into dub-like places, with dark vocals that hint toward ’90s trip-hop. It’s retro, it’s new. It’s all of the above. Let the music speak for itself.
