Towing their past line of indie pop rock, Outside Smoke‘s sophomore record Electrical Sounds, instills a sense of voltaic summer nostalgia while keeping spirits buoyant with crisp guitar tones and tight drums. Punchy melodies and psychedelic hints lend to Outside Smoke’s sound. The Baltimore band’s dynamic energy – shifting between rhythmically driven and ethereal – manifests best on the stage for an invigorating live gig. Founded in St. Mary’s College, the band comprises vocalist Kian Karimi, bassist Joe Kelly, drummer Ryan Reis, and guitarists Grant Burgess and Devin Protzko.
