Sarah Fridrich studied jazz piano at University of Maryland, College Park. She was a student of Washington area jazz piano masters Ron Elliston and Jon Ozment. Sarah also studied classical piano technique with internationally acclaimed concert pianist Aldo Ragone.
In addition to being an accomplished teacher, Ms. Fridrich is a professional songwriter-composer who has produced two albums of her original songs: 2007 self-titled EP, and 2011 full length CD entitled “You Call That Brave”.
In 2009, Sarah was awarded an Individual Artist Grant by the Montgomery County Arts & Humanities Council. In 2011, she was recognized as a Finalist in the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest for her original song “Anvil”.
Sarah Fridrich has a B.A. in liberal arts from St. John’s College, where she studied the “Great Books of the Western World”, and a B.A. in jazz piano from the University of Maryland.
Sarah worked with Producer Mat Leffler-Schulman on You Call That Brave. He also mixed the record at Mobtown Studios.
