I’ve seen Minimus The Poet a few times in the past here in Baltimore, but I have actually hung out and drank beers with Aaron Wold, the primary songwriter, vocalist and guitarist way more often outside the studio. Aaron is a man of the people trying to make every moment count. He does this as a musician and when not creating amazing soulful indie folk records that make it impossible to keep your toes from tapping. He has put together a band of amazing instrumentalists and vocalists. He incorporates accordion, banjo, mandolin and has become an amazing theremin player, however Aaron will be the last person to say so.
We were humbled to have Minimus The Poet perform a microshow here last month during which there was an insane derecho rain storm. But that didn’t stop his fans from packing the place. It was an amazing night albeit not great for anyone’s hair. That said, enjoy the show.
