Day Gone’s new album Children, Dream is here! Robbie Liberati recorded everything in Jake Ruth’s basement studio on a pretty tight budget. Children, Dream is their concept album about nightmares. It’s quite possibly their most cohesive and resonant album thus far. The themes are a dark and mildly creepy, but it comes together nicely with out being standoffish or too high brow. It also just sounds completely lush and thick. A great listen on headphones, if I do say so myself. Robbie also mixed the heck out of this LP before having it mastered by Mat Leffler-Schulman at Mobtown North.
Take a listen and let us know what you think! But beware, it’s awfully spooky!
