Ploy – EP

Mat Leffler-Schulman recently mastered the debut EP from PLOY. PLOY is Gil Wojcik and Justin Victoria who recently met in a Starbucks in midtown Manhattan. It sounds cliché, I know! But their music is fun, soulfully eclectic and sounds great! They are working in a genre that can easily turn redundant and predictable. But somehow they effortlessly create a sound that grows and builds and keeps you engaged. It’s something that is hard to find in electropop outside of the verse/chorus/verse stigma.

Be on the lookout for a full length record soon! Until then you can buy this EP here.

Gil – Balance

Mat Leffler-Schulman recently mastered Gil’s debut album. Gil who is better known as Gil Wojcik comes from a singer songwriter mentality. There’s no way around this as it’s just him performing and producing the record. Balance comes through like a recently cleaned piece of glass. It’s sincere and transparent for all the best reasons and creates a great indie pop atmosphere. It’s a wonderful listen and you’ll not be disapointed. Enjoy “Caged”. It’s my favorite cut on the record. You can download the record here
