Deep in the dusky crevices of Mobtown Laboratories, our experimental socio-audiologists have spent the last few months honing a revolutionary technique of live musical brewery. The mission was to distill all the kinetic energy and sonic kaboom of a large venue show into a teeny pint-sized house concert package. We’ve had a few near misses (one folly in particular involved Mat, a Bunsen burner, three Inuit throat singers and a billy goat, but we won’t be speaking of that again).

Well, now, I’m proud to say: “By golly, I think we’ve got it!”

An artist incapable of stopping the process of creation, ellen cherry has recorded and released original music continuously since 1997. Her style has been described as “spunky downer pop for history buffs” and, yes, she is over 5’10” tall! Somehow though, we’ll manage to squeeze her indefatigable energy and a small crowd of devoted listeners into our studio to share in a very personal intimate musical experience.
