Cameron Blake – Microshow
Cameron Blake came in last night for his microshow. Dave Hadley (Caleb Stine/Wye Oak) joined him on pedal steel; Gabe Finck (BSO) was on french horn; and Chris Pierorazio on percussion and drums. It was a perfect night of rain, friends and a religious musical experience. Cameron never fails to bring on the fight and last night was no exception. Hearing Cameron rework his songs’ arrangements brought new life to them. He also covered a song by Baltimore’s own Caleb Stine. And you know we love when Baltimore artists give love to their own. Thanks Cameron!

Amazing show you guys! My favorites were Love Song and Hudson Line – they were especially moving. Thanks for hosting these microshows Mat and Emily, they’ve become a wonderful part of Baltimore.

Whoa. I had no idea you’d put this on the website for us to enjoy. I am sitting here reliving a completely magical evening that I feel humbled to have been a part of. Having heard (nay, memorized!) the CD, I was wondering how only 4 people could recreate all the layers therein. Ha. Was I ever in for a delight. Oh, yeah, and the audio? Not too shabby. Not to shabby at ALL! Cameron, Chris P, et al: you guys rule. Thanks.

Good job! It was a great evening! I missed my Hudson song, but you made up with the rest. Substance was surprisingly awesome too! I thought I loved Caleb’s version, but now I love what you did too. I don’t have to choose, you are both wonderful local artists! Good luck in your future endeavors
and keep your eye on the Big Man
